These eggs have the appearance of rotten eggs. While most people would be tempted to toss these rotten eggs in the trash, there are some people in China who relish the taste of these rotten eggs. Their preparation consists in covering them with clay, salt, and ash. After that, they are left to rot for several months. In the meantime, their yolk turns a dark green color and begins to smell strongly. Despite this, people continue to consume it. Strange, isn’t it?

Locust Bugs (Myanmar)

Locust bugs are readily available in a variety of markets throughout Myanmar. According to reports, the locals adore it, but it is not something that tourists find appealing.
