Billie exhibited what it means to be a courageous warrior by making the ultimate sacrifice to save the lives of many others. He was completely selfless in every manner. Billie was known for constantly putting others’ needs before of his own, and he eagerly gave his time. Billie made the greatest sacrifice on this horrible day, giving up his right to spend the rest of his life with Peggy in order to save the lives of others.

Returning To Base
Peggy discovered the site of the grave and promptly set out to return him to their house. Billie’s proximity to her was vital to her, therefore she created a plan to achieve this goal. Billie’s cremated remains were interred at the Normandy American Cemetery. Billie had been speaking with awe and in a very motivating manner up to this moment. Simply said, many people adored him, and many others owe their gratitude to him. According to CBS, his tombstone is the one with the most decorations and an outpouring of love for him in the entire cemetery.
