A large number of people believe that the festival is the birth of the American drum circle as we know it today. This is relevant to a group of people who come together to perform music as a group. Perhaps you’ve heard the word “jam session” before. Everyone was inspired to create their own music and instruments out of anything they could find in response to the tunes being played. The plan was just to give entertainment to 150,000 people. We are all aware that the turnout was far greater than they had anticipated when the event was first advertised.
