Sanitize Containers Using Vinegar
Do you have a hard time scraping mayonnaise, peanut butter, or mustard out of a jar to repurpose it? Or, even worse, removing residue from a sticky vase, decanter, or container? Set aside for 10-15 minutes after partially filling the object with vinegar and the other half with warm, soapy water. If you’re cleaning a bottle or jar, seal it and give it a good shake; otherwise, scrape away any remaining residue with a bottle brush before completely rinsing.

Remove Bugs Using Vinegar
Do you have moths or other insects in your pantry or cupboard? In a small basin, combine 1 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar with a few drops of liquid dish detergent; the bugs will be attracted to it and will drown if they fall into it. After that, unload the shelves and scrub the insides with dish soap or 2 cups of baking soda in 1 quart (1 liter) water. All wheat items (bread, pasta, flour, etc.) should be thrown away, and canned foods should be carefully cleaned before reusing.
