They traveled for two hours till they reached their destination, an airport. Oscar was perplexed and unsure of what was going on. He has whisked away abruptly after being escorted onto a waiting helicopter. The terror and uncertainty made his heart accelerate despite the fact that he had no idea where they were headed or why.

He tried to ask where his wife and daughter were. His voice was hardly audible over the helicopter’s propeller noise. He was buckled up and given ear protection, but Hilly and Lily’s other automobile was nowhere to be seen. He tried again, “Where are you taking me?” but no one responded.
