It turned out that Grayson’s belly-rubbing abilities were so impressive that the seal was witnessed flapping its flipper over the diver’s palm as a sign of appreciation. It was a delightful sight to behold, especially because the seal’s saggy coat swayed in sync with the waves. The seal remained on its back for a considerable amount of time, evidently content. If anything, the seal’s behavior became more playful as he sprang back to his feet and prepared to make another move.

The one who remained would remain on board and steer the boat. By this point, it had become a regular practice that they were well familiar with. Eventually, the first cages were brought back up, and they were overjoyed! After confirming that the location was still reliable, they were well on their way to finishing the day on the right foot. As the cages were being emptied and they were preparing themselves to go again, high-fives were being exchanged.

So far, it had been a very successful day; everything was going quite well. The three guys were well aware that they were on the verge of breaking their previous crab-fishing record. As soon as they were completed at their first place, their vehicle was fired up and they were on their way to their next destination. The further they traveled, though, the more hazardous the situation appeared to be on the ocean. On the icebergs, seal colonies could be seen basking in the sun, and, to my surprise, there were no birds at all. The breathtaking sights, on the other hand, were a distraction from the hidden dangers that awaited them.

Yikes! An Iceberg!
Although they were surprised to discover icebergs in the Labrador Sea, they were not completely surprised because they were aware that icebergs regularly floated freely in the sea. Traveling on autopilot, on the other hand, could prove to be a costly mistake. Undoubtedly, taking the wrong turn might have fatal effects. Allan was the person in charge of keeping an eye out, and he observed something on the iceberg’s surface. They, on the other hand, found it difficult to ignore Allan’s discovery and found it difficult to concentrate on the chores of the day while the mystery remained unanswered. They realized they needed to get closer to the iceberg in order to figure out what it was. As they got closer to the iceberg, the wind picked up and the chill in the air became more noticeable. It was at this point that they saw the animal had fur on it. Fur that has been wet. When they saw the animal was dead and they realized they needed to find out what it was, it became necessary to postpone the remainder of their fishing excursion until the matter could be sorted.

They approached the iceberg with trepidation, remaining in the boat because they were unsure of what they were dealing with. Firstly, they had no idea what kind of animal they were approaching. Secondly, they had deviated from their original plan and were preparing to enter unfamiliar territory. Allan remained firm in his belief that they were carrying out the right moral course. Mallory and Cliff weren’t convinced, but they did agree that the subject needed to be looked into more thoroughly. An animal in distress required assistance. If they didn’t do anything, it would very certainly perish.

The three of them were moving gently through the water, keeping an eye out for any potential risks. Floating ice in big numbers has the potential to cause harm to the boat. Mallory warned the group that they needed to proceed with extreme caution at this point in time. Despite the excitement, the situation was extremely perilous and explosive.

Suddenly, a tremendous gust of wind blew through the region with no prior notice. This made it even more difficult for them to find their way around. Even more terrifying for the party was the fact that the iceberg moved as a result of the high wind! What would the animal’s reaction be? It was at this point that the group became concerned about much more than only the ice, but but for the animal’s well-being as well. If the animal were to jump off the iceberg out of fear, it would very certainly be fatal to the animal. If she could just get a little bit closer to the animal, she would almost certainly be able to identify it if she kept her eyes riveted to it the entire time.

For the trio, the danger only grew worse. They had no choice but to pursue the lone iceberg that had appeared. Their safety, as well as the life of the animal pacing back and forth on the iceberg’s surface, was in danger. They needed to move swiftly if they were going to keep up with the iceberg. They had to do this, though, while keeping conscious of their surroundings, which included the water. The night was slowly coming upon them, as was the day before. They had gotten themselves into such a predicament!
