On August 31, 1997, the royal family’s wonderful life came to an end. Diana was in Paris at the time, and the photographers were hounding her as usual. The car swerved to dodge the pursuing photographers and smashed into a support beam while being driven through the Pont de l’Alma tunnel in Paris. Diana was pronounced dead at the hospital shortly after arriving with internal injuries. The British people and the rest of the globe will never forget what happened on that fateful day.
