Pen caps do, in fact, come with holes. They are, on the other hand, nothing to be concerned about! As a matter of fact, they were included for a very good purpose. When people are thinking, it appears that many of them put their pen caps in their mouths. However, they will still be able to breathe if they ever accidentally ingest it!

Since the launching of the iPhone 5, Apple has included three microphones in all of the devices it produces. One is located near the speaker grill, one is located on the bottom of the phone, and the final one is located near the camera lens. They accomplished this to ensure that you can capture sound no matter which way you chose to hold your phone throughout the recording process.
