Grumman OV-1 Mohawk
In the 1950s, the Grumman OV-1 was developed to replace the Cessna L-19 Bird Dog. It was used by the US Army as an all-weather observation and attack jet that could outrun and outpower the Bird Dog. The OV-1 Mohawk concept earned an award for Grumman Aircraft Corporation! After all, it turned out to be unlike anything else ever made.
