Tina Turner
She got the moniker of “Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll” for a good reason: she was born in the United States and raised in Switzerland. Tina Turner began her professional music career in 1957 as a member of Ike Turner’s Kings of Rhythm, which was founded by her father, Ike Turner. She achieved fame as the lead singer of the band Ike & Tina Turner, but she later enjoyed success as a solo artist.
