After making his on-screen debut as eccentric Uncle Arthur, Paul Lynde quickly rose to prominence as a frequent guest star. However, committed viewers will recall that, in addition to Arthur, Lynde played a variety of parts on the sitcom. The actor made his Bewitched debut as a restless driving teacher in the episode “Driving is the Only Way to Fly” but he appears to have charmed the powers that be so much that he ended up receiving a bigger role.
