Caring For The Lizard
Milly had also researched what lizards commonly devoured, and she was happy to discover that they mostly consumed bugs. She still had all of the bugs she’d collected earlier in the day before encountering the black lizard. Despite her pity for the bugs, the lizard’s life was currently more important to her. At least until she learned more about it. Milly would bitterly regret dedicating so much time and energy to helping the animal once she had.

When Milly got home, she finished the terrarium, placed it in a bowl of water, and then carefully placed the lizard inside. She was still cautious to approach the animal because she wasn’t sure if its skin was poisonous to her. Worse yet, it might bite her. Fortunately, the relocation went down without a hitch. Milly sealed the glass container after placing a few live bugs inside. Following that, the lizards appeared to be very content.
